MENDOTA – Vivian Jeanne July, 93, of Mendota and formerly of Amboy, died Saturday, July 22, 2017 at OSF Healthcare St. Paul Medical Center in Mendota.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy with Pastor Bill Ultch officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Sublette. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
She was born May 29, 1924 in Downers Grove, the daughter of Franklin and Grace (Vivian) Dewey. She married Harold M. July Jr. in Rockford on July 10, 1948. He preceded her in death on Feb. 8, 1987.
Jeanne is survived by her children, Candi (Warren) Vine of North Aurora, Curtis (Jean) July of Surprise, Ariz., and Dean July of Pray, Mont., and one granddaughter, Kristin (Scott Tamkus) Dee.
She had been a member of the Sublette Union Church.
A memorial has been established to Pankhurst Memorial Library in Amboy.
