OGLESBY - The 2020 Virtual Illinois Farm Economics Summit (IFES), organized by the University of Illinois Extension and the Department of Agricultural and Consumer Economics, will be held in December. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year the event will be virtual rather than in-person.
IFES is specifically designed for farm operators, lenders, land owners, and other agribusiness professionals. The summit will consist of five webinars, each covering an individual topic and take place on Dec. 1, 4, 8, 11 and 15. Each webinar will run from 11 a.m. to noon and will include 30 minutes of presentation and 30 minutes of Q&A.
Registration is free and attendees only need to sign up once for the entire IFES series. More information and registration can be found at the conference website at http://farmdoc.illinois.edu/ifes.
