MENDOTA - Kenny Otterbach Excavating and Mendota city workers get started on a project to temporarily fix a section of retaining wall along Mendota Creek near Jefferson Street. The wall was previously damaged during heavy rains. Although the property is not owned by the city, the emergency repair is necessary to keep the creek bank from eroding further and possibly causing additional damage. (Reporter photo)
