Tween program gets dirty with spring planting

Audrey Becker, center, helps participants in the Graves-Hume Public Library’s “Tweens” program plant a container garden, April 5. The program was open to students in grades 5-8. Upcoming programs include an After-School Movie with free popcorn on Wednesday, April 19 at 3:30 p.m.; Doggie Tales: Reading with Gigi on Thursday, April 20 at 6:30 p.m.; and “FunFamilyTime” on Thursday, April 27 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. For more information on these programs or to sign up, call the Graves-Hume Public Library at (815) 538-5142.
