Princeton torched the nets for the first three quarters and rolled over Mendota, 76-36, in a varsity boys’ basketball matchup on Dec. 3 at Princeton.
The Tigers got scoring from seven different players as they put 26 points on the board in the first quarter compared to 15 for Mendota. Princeton built its lead to 48-26 at the half and 70-32 after three frames. The running clock was utilized in the fourth period.
Alexis Quintana and Gavin Glazebrook each pumped in nine points to lead the Trojans. Princeton had four players reach doubles figures in scoring.

Rockford Christian had too much firepower and cruised past the Trojans, 79-35, in the Big Northern Conference season-opener on Dec. 5 at Rockford.
Christian zoomed out to a 22-13 first-quarter lead and kept pulling away over the next three frames. The count stood at 43-21 at the half and 69-31 with three quarters in the books.
Glazebrook knocked down three three-pointers on his way to a team-leading 11 points for the Trojans (0-6, 0-1). Quintana chipped in with eight markers.
Christian had a balanced scoring attack with three players hitting the double-digit plateau. The Royal Lions connected on eight field goals from three-point range.
