MENDOTA – Mendota Just For Kix teams recently competed at the 4th Annual Streator Together We Dance Competition. The competition was held at Streator High School on March 4. Including Mendota, there were eight Illinois Just For Kix programs in attendance. Mendota JFK team placements included Junior Hip Hop - 1st place, Junior Jazz - 1st place, Mini Lyrical - 2nd place, Wee Hip Hop - 2nd place, Wee Jazz - 2nd place, Junior Kick - 2nd place, and Junior Lyrical - 4th place. Mendota JFK will continue their competition season by attending a Together We Dance Competition in Decorah, Iowa the end of March and then finish in Minnesota at Rochester Nationals at the end of April.
