LaSALLE – Todd Robert Moore, 58, of LaSalle, died unexpectedly of heart conditions Nov. 10, 2023.

Private funeral services were held at Merritt Funeral Home in Mendota. There will be a celebration of Todd’s life on Sunday, Nov. 19, 2023, from noon-3 p.m. at the Paramount Club, LaSalle. A dinner will be served buffet style/meal, dessert will be provided along with a cash bar.

Todd was born in Mendota on Feb. 8, 1965, to Roger and Edna (Browder) Moore. Todd married Holly (Korte) Moore on March 19, 1994, at Saint Valentines Catholic Church in Peru.

Todd is survived by his wife, Holly and his two sons, Trevor Moore of LaSalle and Jacob Moore of Spring Valley; one granddaughter, Sophia Moore; his parents, Roger and Edna Moore of LaMoille; one sister, Rachel Thompson Waldorf (Greg) of Hennepin; two brothers, Travis and Lisa Moore of Arlington, and Eric and Karen Moore of Morris; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Scott Duane Moore of Amboy; a brother-in-law, Jeff Thompson of LaMoille; his grandparents, aunts and uncles.

Todd attended Van Orin grade school and then graduated from LaMoille High School in 1984. Todd loved football, baseball, basketball and fishing. Todd still holds the pole-vault record for LaMoille High School to this day. One of his greatest loves was working with wood. He loved to build his sons’ baseball bats, go karts and little go karts to race. Fishing became another one of Todd’s biggest things he loved. He traveled anywhere to fish, and that meant bringing his boys along with him. Todd is also a very big avid Dallas Cowboys fan.
