MENDOTA – R. H. Boelk Truck Lines joined the list of Sweet Corn Festival Major Sponsors.
R.H. Boelk Truck Lines performs a very important service for the Sweet Corn Festival; they transport and store the large amount of plastic barrels used for set-up of the festival beer garden and corn serving. They also store the hundreds of feet of fencing needed for both these events, in addition to helping with parade expenses.
They also co-sponsored the Pipes & Drums of Clan MacAlpine from Rockford. This unique band is the 14th oldest bagpipe band in the nation at 105 years of carrying on the tradition.
As a major sponsor, R. H. Boelk Truck Lines, along with all of the other major sponsors of the fest, had their logo appear on this year’s Sweet Corn Festival T-shirt, festival website, and in the thousands of festival brochures. The Mendota Chamber appreciates all that these businesses do in contributing to the success of an event as large as Mendota’s Annual Sweet Corn Festival.
