Rummage sale at OLPHC
The St. Anne’s Sodality of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church will hold a rummage sale at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish Hall on Friday, May 25 and Saturday, May 26. Hours on Friday will be from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. and Saturday hours will be from 8 a.m.-noon. For information, call Carol Vaessen at (815) 849-5533.
Memorial Day service planned
The annual Sublette Memorial Day Service will be held on Monday, May 28 at 11 a.m. near the Veterans Memorial at the Ellice Dinges Center. The Poths Lavelle American Legion Post of Amboy will be in charge of the service. Don Dinges will pay tribute to area veterans in s short address. Following the Sublette service another service will be held at Woodhaven lakes.
Blood drive set for June 6
There will be a Red Cross blood drive at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Hall on Tuesday, June 5 from 1 to 6 p.m. The drive is sponsored by Sub-Let Indians 4-H Club. To make an appointment call Carol Vaessen at (815) 849-5533.
Cruise Night cancelled
The Sublette Cruise ‘n Show scheduled for May 12 was cancelled due to inclement weather. The cruise night will be rescheduled for a later date.
