The Village of Sublette welcomed Erbes Realty as one of its newest businesses. Sublette Village President Michael Vaessen presents an American flag to owner Lori Erbes. Erbes Realty, which opened its doors in August 2017, is located at 1922 Tower Road in Sublette. Erbes Realty specializes in residential, recreational, commercial and farmland real estate. Sublette Business Assoc. meets

SUBLETTE – Members of the Sublette Business Association held their annual meeting on Jan. 31 at the LaFiesta Restaurant.

The group discussed moving the digital sign from its present location to the corner of Inlet Road and U.S. Route 52. They also discussed purchasing decals that members can affix to their windows to indicate they are members of the association. Officers for the coming year will be Steve Klein, president; Dennis Gillan, vice president; Jamie Rogers, secretary; and Don Dinges, treasurer. It was noted that 2017 was a very good year for the village as a number of new businesses opened during the year. Upcoming events were also discussed including the toy show, cruise night, SubletteFest and the car show.

The next meeting will be held in April at Green River Oaks Camping Resort.

Toy Show to feature Oliver

SUBLETTE – The 36th annual Sublette Farm Toy and Antique Tractor Show will be coming up on Saturday, March 17 and Sunday, March 18. The featured line of tractors and farm equipment will be Oliver. The Midwest Oliver Club will be participating again this year. The club is always welcomed since the organization held its very first meeting in Sublette at the V. O. Bonnell farm equipment store.
