MENDOTA - The Mendota Area Chamber of Commerce reminds residents that several downtown streets will be closed during the “A Mendota Christmas” event on Saturday, Dec. 7.
The street closings will include the 700 block of both Illinois Avenue and Indiana Avenue (Washington Street to Jefferson Street) and Jefferson Street from Indiana Avenue to Main Street. The streets will be closed beginning at the end of business on Friday, Dec. 6 until 4 p.m. on Dec. 7.
The Chamber appreciates the community’s cooperation and they encourage everyone to come downtown and take part in “A Mendota Christmas” this Saturday.
