MENDOTA — First State Bank has announced the appointment of Kati Stevenson to its board of directors. Stevenson will fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Robert Vickrey and will serve the remainder of his term.

“We are pleased to welcome Kati to our board of directors,” said Tim McConville, President/CEO of First State Bank. “We look forward to working with her as we shape the future of First State Bank.”

Kati is an attorney who was born and raised in Mendota. She is a 2001 graduate of Illinois State University and a 2004 graduate from The Florida State University College of Law. Kati returned to Illinois in 2005 to begin practicing law with her father, Michael Guilfoyle, at his Mendota law firm, Guilfoyle Law Firm. In January 2019, Kati and her father started the partnership of Guilfoyle & Stevenson LLP. Kati resides in Mendota with her husband and two children.

“I am honored to join the board of directors of First State Bank,” Stevenson said. “I look forward to contributing to First State Bank as a whole, and I am also excited to be a part of an organization that works hard to meet the needs of the communities that First State Bank serves.”
