MENDOTA – The Mendota Junior League Softball All-Stars won the state championship on July 16 and now advance to the Central States Regional in Pendleton, Ind. The team’s first game will be at 4 p.m. CDT Friday, July 19 against the Indiana state champions. The tournament will continue through Monday, July 22 to decide the Central Regional’s representative in the Junior Softball World Series.
