Starved Rock to offer three holiday events this December

UTICA – Starved Rock Lodge makes plans for holiday entertainment, including “Broadway Christmas,” “Patsy Cline Christmas,” and “Breakfast with Santa.”

On Dec. 2-3 at 11:30 a.m., Starved Rock Lodge will present “Broadway Christmas.”

Celebrate the joy of Christmas while listening to the sounds of Broadway and Christmas with Phil and Amy. A husband and wife team that are known most notably as featured vocalists with Franz Benteler Royal Strings Orchestra. This Chicagoland duo will get you into the Christmas spirit with their unique duets and solos. Both are accomplished vocalists, musicians and recording artists with a special love for the finest selections of show tunes, classics and memory lane favorites. Cost is $36 per person.

On Dec. 16-17 at 11:30 a.m., Starved Rock Lodge will present “Patsy Cline Christmas.”

Mary Pfeifer brings Christmas Songs to life as Patsy Cline. She will also be bringing you back through time with some of Patsy Cline’s first recordings. Cost is $36 per person.

On Dec. 21 at 8:30 a.m., Starved Rock Lodge will present “Breakfast with Santa.”

Join the jolliest man himself for a breakfast buffet. Following breakfast, you will be treated to a magic show. Also attending will be “Grace,” a white-tailed deer from Furry Friends. Children can take turns sitting on Santa’s lap to tell him their Christmas wishes and receive a chocolate treat. Cost is $18.50 for adults and $14.95 for children 10 and under.
