LA SALLE - Stage 212 will present a special one-night showing of the hit Native American movie “Neither Wolf Nor Dog” at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 27 at the theater, 700 First St., LaSalle.
Based on the book of the same name by Kent Nerburn, “Neither Wolf Nor Dog” tells the story of a white author who is drawn into an emotional and cathartic road trip through the heart of Native American country by a Lakota elder and his best friend, and comes to have a deeper understanding of contemporary native life. The film features an acclaimed performance by 97-year-old Lakota elder Dave Bald Eagle.
Tickets for “Neither Wolf Nor Dog” are $10 each for adults and $5 each for students in grade school through college. Tickets may be purchased from the Stage 212 website at www.stage212.org or at the door on the evening of the performance. Call (815) 224-3025 for details.
