Mendota pulled out a thrilling 28-30, 25-17, 25-21 win over Dixon in varsity volleyball action on March 30 at Dixon.
Jaelyn Fitzgerald dominated at the net with 17 kills. Lauren Martin and Ella Massey helped out with seven kills apiece. Martin led in digs with 14 and Massey delivered 30 assists, while Jenna O’Donnell had 10 digs.

Byron handed the Spikers their first loss of the season, 12-25, 25-13, 25-14 on April 1 at the MHS gym.
Fitzgerald and Reanna Brant had 10 and five kills, respectively, while O’Donnell posted 15 digs and Massey had 18 assists. Paige Manning added eight digs.

Newark was a straight-set winner over the Spikers, 25-13, 25-14, on April 3 at the MHS gym.
Marah Setchell led Mendota (6-2) with five kills, O’Donnell had eight digs and Manning contributed 15 assists.
