GREENCASTLE, Ind. - Shirley Jean Lage, 80, of Greencastle, Ind. passed away Oct. 7, 2021 at Mill Pond Health Campus.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 13 at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle with Pastor Mark Miller officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will take place at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 14 at Restland Cemetery, Mendota.
Shirley was born May 15, 1941 in Mendota to Ralph W. and Betty A. (Kettley) Larabee. She married John E. Lage.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years; five children, John E. (Jan) Lage Jr., William D. (Pam) Lage, Janice K. (Dirk) Wogast, Renee R. Socia and Maria M. (Demetrius) Gibson; one sister, Sharon K. Larabee; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, David R. Larabee.
Shirley was a 1959 graduate of Paw Paw High School. She was a member of the Greencastle Christian Church.
