MENDOTA – Joe and Terri Schmidt of Mendota celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Jan. 15, 2021.
Joseph William Schmidt and Terri Lynn Stevens were united in marriage in Mendota in 1971.
They are the parents of Brian (Laura Heckert) of Littleton, Tricia (Mike Hernandez) of Rochelle and Rob (Lucy Espinoza) of Mendota.
They are the grandparents of Drew and Dillon Schmidt of Littleton, Grace Hernandez of Rochelle, and Josh and Zachary Schmidt of Mendota.
Before retiring, Joe was a farmer and machinist at Black Bros. Terri did volunteer work through Holy Cross and worked for many years at the Christian Food Pantry. She is also a homemaker who makes the most incredible food this side of the Mississippi River.
The family hopes to hold a celebration of this accomplishment pending the pandemic.
