PAW PAW - Sally L. Clausen, 67, of Mendota and Paw Paw, passed away March 31, 2019 at Miles Bluff Medical Center, Mauston, Wis.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 9 at the Paw Paw Community Building, 362 Chicago Road, Paw Paw with lunch served at noon. Private burial of cremains will follow the luncheon at Wyoming Cemetery, Paw Paw. Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota assisted the family.
Sally was born Nov. 16, 1951 in DeKalb to Merlin Wesley and Gladys Marie (Tucker) Clausen.
Survivors include one brother, Kurt of Mendota; one sister, Linda Znaniecki of Buda; two sisters-in-law, Colleen Clausen of Franklin Grove and Judy Clausen of Herrin; a godson, Todd Pasley of San Diego, Calif.; nieces and nephews, Steve (Kelly) Znaniecki, Amy (Eric) Bishop, Kim (Eric) Deery, Jeff (Erin) Clausen, Greg Clausen, and Angela (Mark) McGowan; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Jim Clausen and Kent Clausen; one nephew, Brian Clausen; one niece, Charyl Stouffer; and one great nephew, Logan M. Znaniecki.
Sally was a 1969 graduate of Paw Paw High School. She previously worked at Caron Yarn in Rochelle and Tiki Truck Stop in Peru. She was a night auditor at Best Western in Florida when she lived there during the 1980s.
