The $1,138,976.04 contract consists of removal and replacement of the structure and has been awarded to D Construction of Coal City. Traffic signals will be utilized to maintain one lane of traffic throughout the duration of the project, which is expected to last into late August.
Additionally, intersection improvements will be made at the intersection of U.S. 34 and County Highway 38. To facilitate this work, beginning April 12, County Highway 38 will be closed south of U.S. 34. This closure is expected to last up to three months.
