LAKE BARRINGTON - Roy H. Doll, 90, of Lake Barrington, formerly of Cary, passed away Dec. 14, 2017.
A memorial service will be held at noon on Saturday, Jan. 6 at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until noon on Jan. 6 at the funeral home.
Roy was born April 4, 1927 in Maywood to George and Hannah Doll. He married Hilda Henry on Sept. 4, 1948.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Christopher (Storri) Doll and Charlie (Donna) Doll; five grandchildren, Sarah, Adam, Bradley, Elizabeth and Joshua; and one sister, Betty Lou Radefeld of Mendota.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Philip Doll.
Roy was a proud veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and was a member of VFW Post 12014. He was also a former member of the Kiwanis and Rotary clubs. His faith was very important to him and he was an active member of St. Barnabas Lutheran Church in Cary.
