MENDOTA - Rose Bureski, 96, of Mendota passed away May 3, 2017 in Mendota.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 9 followed by burial at St. Adalbert Cemetery, Niles. Visitation will be from 9:15 a.m. until time of service on May 9 at St. Juliana Catholic Church, Chicago. Schwarz Funeral Home assisted the family.
Rose was born Sept. 3, 1920 in Chicago. She married William Bureski on Oct. 11, 1941 in Chicago. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, William and Richard; one daughter, Roseanne; one grandchild, Daryl; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; three brothers, George, Edward and Raymond; and three sisters, Gertrude, Evelyn and Elsie.
Rose was a supply clerk for Resurrection Hospital for 24 years before retiring in 1995.
Memorials may be directed to St. Juliana's Church.
