PAW PAW - Roberta K. “Cookie” Hollingsworth, 76, of Paw Paw, formerly of Aurora, passed away May 1, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 7 at the Torman Funeral Home, Paw Paw with Pastor John Yoeckel officiating. Visitation is from 9 a.m. until time of service. Interment will follow the service at Wyoming Township Cemetery, Paw Paw.

Roberta was born Nov. 17, 1942 in Aurora to Robert and Roberta (Pierce) Fullwiler. She married Daniel Hollingsworth in February 1982.

Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Michelle (Carlos) Medina; two step-sons, Todd (Renae) Hollingsworth and Tony (Julie) Hollingsworth; seven grandchildren, Matthew, Michael and Sophia Medina, Jordan Hollingsworth, Alyssa Boaz, Kolby Hollingsworth, and Dalton Hollingsworth; one brother, Fred Boyce; and very special friends, the Hutchinson family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother.

Roberta retired as a general manager from the Illinois Secretary of State Driver Services. She was an extremely talented crafter, adept at everything from crocheting to weaving. She enjoyed trips to the riverboat and playing the slot machines. She liked collecting and treasure hunting for antiques. She was into salvaging and restoring old items before it became as popular as it is today. A very giving person, she gave much back to her community, often in ways that went unnoticed. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
