SHERIDAN – The Robert Rowe Library in Sheridan announces its programs for October.
A preschool playgroup is held every Thursday at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.
The UFO (Unfinished Objects) Crafting Group for adults meets on Mondays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Ping Pong Ghost Lights for children ages 5-10 will be held ob Monday, Oct. 16 at 3:30 p.m.
The Sock Knitting Group meets the third Tuesday of every month from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. This month’s meeting date is Oct. 17.
An afternoon movie is shown on a large screen the third Tuesday of every month. This month, “The Zoo Keepers Wife” will be shown on Oct. 17 at 2 p.m.
An author visit will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 17. Chicago columnist and author, “Bull Garlington,” will be welcomed at 7 p.m. All ages are welcome.
The Mendota Area Senior Services representatives offer free help with issues on Medicare and Medicaid the last Wednesday of every month. This month, representative will be at the library on Oct. 25 from 1-3 p.m.
