TELL CITY, Ind. - Robert K. Worsley, 81, of Tell City, Ind. passed away Nov. 8, 2017 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11 at the Tell City First United Methodist Church with Pastor Sam Padgett officiating. Entombment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Tell City. Visitation will be from 4–7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 10 at the Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home, Tell City.
Robert was born Feb. 20, 1936 in Triumph to Richard and Eva (Keene) Worsley. He married Beatrice Crenshaw on Sept. 6, 1958. She preceded him in death.
Survivors include five children, Kelli (Jim) Hardesty of Hemet, Calif., Debra (Mark) Goffinet of Tell City, Ind., Rebecca (Joe) Ernst of Tell City, Ind., Stephanie Armanetti of Grays Lake and Sara (David) Davis of Tell City, Ind.; 13 grandchildren, Christopher and Nicholas Hardesty, Matthew Rideout, Michelle Rideout-Hayes, Alyssa Fulkerson, Kyle Goffinet, Michael and Isaiah Ernst, Olivia and Sophia Armanetti, Gabrielle and Julia Joines, and Emily Davis; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and two grandchildren, Adam Hardesty and Andrew Hardesty.
Robert served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and retired from the Branchville Correctional Center as a sergeant. He enjoyed spending time with both his family and his church family.
