MENDOTA - Robert F. Moffett, Jr., 66, of Mendota passed away Jan. 18, 2020 at his home.
Memorial services will be held at 10:45 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 7 at the Merritt Funeral Home with Rev. Susan Presley officiating. Visitation will be from 10–10:45 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
Robert was born Nov. 22, 1953 in Carbondale to Robert F. and Shirley (Treese) Moffett, Sr. He married Gail Law on May 9, 1999.
Survivors include his wife of Mendota; three sons, Robert (Billie) Moffett III of Belvidere, John (Becky) Henson of Streator and James Law of Mendota; two daughters, Robin (Justin) Badger of Fairview Heights and Stacy Law of Mendota; one brother, David Neff of El Paso; one sister, Sheila Neff of El Paso; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Robert served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed playing board games and card games with his family.
