LASALLE – Rebecca Rickman and James Forgy were united in marriage July 22, 2017 at St. Patrick’s Church in LaSalle. Father Jacob Valle officiated.

Parents of the couple are Marcia Rickman of Cary and Don and Doris Forgy of Mendota.

Best Man was Josh Forgy, brother of the groom and Maid of Honor was Jenny Charles, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kim Terry and Jasmine Young, friends of the couple. Groomsmen were Kyle Sibert and Cole Thorpen, friends of the couple. Ring bearer was Calvin Charles, nephew of the bride and the flower girls were Lauren Brinker and Hannah Brinker, cousins of the groom. Nick Terry was the usher.

The couple was honored during a reception at the Mendota Civic Center. Nick Terry and Jasmine Young provided the music.

The bride is a 2015 graduate of Western Illinois University with a bachelor degree in special education. She graduated cum laude and is a special education teacher for LaSalle Elementary School District 122 at Northwest Elementary.

The groom is a 2009 graduate of IVCC with an AAS degree in business administration and is employed at PetsMart Distribution Center in Ottawa as a trainer.

After a honeymoon to the Grand Riviera Princess Resort in Playa del Carmen Mexico, the couple resides in LaSalle.
