PONTIAC - Richard W. Carroll, 74, a former Mendota resident, died Aug. 28, 2017 at OSF St. James Medical Center, Pontiac.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 31 at Restland Cemetery, Mendota with Mr. Wendell Wardell officiating. Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota is handling the arrangements.
Richard was born June 15, 1943 in Rockford to Richard and Valeria (Sartwell) Carroll.
He is survived by one son, John.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Richard was a 1962 graduate of Mendota High School.
Memorials may be directed to the donor’s choice.
