MENDOTA - The next L.E.A.S.E. screening will take place on Thursday, Aug. 16 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Mendota.
The screenings are for children who will be 3-5 years old by April 30 and who are not currently enrolled in Preschool for All or Kindergarten. L.E.A.S.E. will screen key developmental areas such as motor development, speech, language, vision, hearing and general readiness.
Appointments may be made in mid-July by calling Maria Arredondo at (815) 539-7362, ext. 310.
All children must be screened to be eligible for Preschool for All, Mendota District 289.
