PRINCETON – The Princeton Public Library and Lori McCarter with the Farm Bureau will present an Ag in the Classroom program at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, June 25 for children in grades 3 to 5. Participants will explore the connection between geography, climate, and the type of agriculture in an area by reading background information and census data about beef, potatoes, apples, wheat, corn, and milk. In addition, they will play a stock trading game called “Pit” and enjoy snacks based on the various commodities. The stock trading game is a current version of one that was created in 1904.
