SUBLETTE — The Village of Sublette bid farewell to its postmaster last week.
Mary Cooney’s last day as postmaster of the Sublette Post Office was on July 31. She held an open house for three days where residents could stop in and offer her well wishes.
Cooney has been with the Sublette Post Office for the almost nine years.
Looking ahead at retirement, Cooney said she and her husband are big golfers and plan to take short little trips.
She said she also will be babysitting the grandkids.
Cooney wanted to thank everyone in Sublette, saying, “everyone was so wonderful.”
