Several vehicles to be towed
PAW PAW – The Village of Paw Paw held its monthly board meeting on Sept. 12.
A concerned resident asked for a wellness check on a neighbor.
The Paw Paw History Project met Sept. 18 at the Community Building. It was open to all and those who had information to share or questions to ask were encouraged to attend the meeting. One of the members is undertaking a house history of all the houses in Paw Paw and put out questionnaires for home owners to share their houses’ history.
The Deputy Sheriff reported that there are 28 vehicles in non-compliance for registered plates, and will be ticketed and towed.
Playground equipment that needed repair was removed from Veterans Park and will be refurbished and installed at Lions Park, next to the ballfield. The giant slide at Rogers Park will also be moved to Lions Park. New equipment will be installed at Rogers Park.
Vendors, crafters and bakers wanted
PAW PAW – A craft/vender show will be held in Paw Paw on Nov. 3 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. A “cupcake war” will also be held. Those interested in reserving a booth or participating in the cupcake war should contact Tammy at (630) 669-9667.
