The Annual Lions Club Fishing Derby is fast approaching. This is an event planned by 15 local Lions Clubs to create an especially fun day for persons with disabilities. Jobs include putting up tents, face painting, and driving the tram.

The Paw Paw library will soon be hosting a few events to kick off their summer reading program. First, on Thursday, July 13 at 6 p.m., they will host the “Scare Up A Good Book” event. This event is free and everyone is welcome to join. There will be a puppet show and good reading activities.

Next, there will be a “Month of Holidays” event starting on Wednesday, July 19 and continuing through Wednesday, Aug. 9.
