Spaghetti supper served Jan. 26
PAW PAW – The Paw Paw High School Freshman Class will be holding an “all you can eat” spaghetti supper on Jan. 26 from 4:40-7 p.m. in the PPHS cafeteria. Menu includes spaghetti, salad, bread, dessert and drink. Cost is $7 for adults, $5 students/senior citizens; and free for preschool age and younger. Come out for the supper—stay to cheer on the Bulldogs as they play Newark.
Annual Barn Dance set for Feb. 24
PAW PAW – This year the LEO Family Barn Dance will be held on Saturday, Feb. 24 from 6-8 p.m. at Paw Paw School. The theme will be “Safranek’s Bakery: A Step Back in Time,” as a tribute to the people of Paw Paw who have spent decades nurturing our community.
The high school entrance will be decorated on Friday evening, Feb. 16 with some empty “store shelves” in order to accept donations of nonperishable goods for the NICE Center in Lee.
If you have anything of historical significance that keeps to the theme (for example: photos, store posters, newspaper clippings, a scale, potato sacks, etc) that you would be willing to loan for the display, or if you have something you would be willing to donate as a door prize (such as: fresh eggs, honey, flavored candy sticks, small crocheted items, baked goods, etc), it would be appreciated. Items can be picked up or dropped off on Feb. 16.
Lastly, if you have stories, history, or memories you would be willing to share, you can email mmendoza@2paws.net.
