MENDOTA - Paul Mark Albers, 55, of Mendota died Nov. 26, 2019 at Loyola University Medical Center.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 2 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Compton with Rev. Jeff Schlesinger officiating. Burial will be at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 1 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota.
Paul was born Sept. 20, 1964 in Mendota to Arlo and Donna (Kaufman) Albers. He married Roxanne Dewey on March 24, 1984 at Amboy Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of Compton; one daughter, Amanda (Beau) Loomis of Compton; one son, Chad (Suzy) Albers of Paw Paw; one sister, Rebecca Delhotal of Mendota; two brothers, David (Lisa) Albers of Mendota and Tim (Paula) Albers of Rochelle; and four grandchildren, Lilly Loomis, Dillian Loomis, Tristan Loomis and Liam Loomis, all of Compton.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Paul was a 1982 graduate of Mendota High School. He was a self-employed farmer and trucker for most of his life. He worked at Crop Production Services in Amboy. He loved his family and friends and was most happy spending time with his grandkids.
