MENDOTA - OSF HealthCare Saint Paul Medical Center mission partners recently presented $1,175.77 to Julie Sloan, executive director of the United Way of the Illinois Valley. The funds were raised over a two-month period, during which mission partners participated in Friday, Jeans for a Cause, caramel apple sales, and a popcorn fundraiser. This donation is above and beyond the monies that numerous OSF Saint Paul mission partners donated through the United Way annual giving campaign that all OSF hospitals support. Attending the presentation were mission partners from numerous departments along with Jennifer Junis, president of Saint Paul Medical Center; Julie Sloan; and Kim Kennedy, Human Resources and United Way Lead at OSF Saint Paul.
