The Trojans found themselves down 18-5 after the dust settled on the first quarter, and it was more of the same hard times at the offensive end for Mendota over the next two periods. The Trojans managed just three points in the second and trailed 31-8 at the half, and they put up only two points in the third and were down 49-10 after three. Mendota shot 28 percent from the floor, 57 percent from the line and had 17 rebounds. Hall made 38 percent of its field goal attempts, 53 percent of its free tosses and grabbed 35 boards. The Trojans committed 19 turnovers, nine more than the Red Devils.
