MENDOTA - Fort du Rocher Chapter of NSDAR held their Feb. 8 meeting at “The Other Side” in Mendota. A welcoming ceremony was held for several new members including Theresa Oloffson, Joni Bratney, Leslie Althaus and Donna Robinson.
Following the business meeting, a program was presented by Deb Redd, RN from Illinois Valley Community Hospital. Her topic covered diabetes’ causes, care and control.
After the program, lunch was served. Guests at the meeting included Richard Althaus and Emerson Byrd, spouses of members, and Diane McCully.
The next NSDAR meeting will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 14 at First United Presbyterian Church in Mendota. The program will be “Quilts of Honor.” Guests are welcome to attend.
