LA SALLE CO. - Real estate taxpayers of LaSalle County are reminded that the last day to make payment for delinquent real estate taxes is Monday, Nov. 13. All payments must be in the LaSalle County Treasurer’s office by this date. Absolutely no payments will be accepted on Nov. 14. Please note, the office will be closed on Nov. 10 for Veteran’s Day.
No personal checks will be accepted in payment of delinquent taxes after Friday, Oct. 6. Payment after that date must be made by cash, money order or cashier’s check.
The drop box located on the east side of the Governmental Complex parking lot will be closed on Oct. 6. Taxpayers whose payments are not in the treasurer’s office by 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 13 will be published as delinquent in local newspapers.
When making payment of real estate taxes, please use the original tax bill.
Per Illinois statue, on Nov. 14 all unpaid taxes will be sold. Please note, parcels with previously sold taxes may have their current year taxes sold before Nov. 14, 2017.
