In her new role, Trompeter will lead OSF Saint Paul Medical Center to align with the overall strategy of OSF HealthCare. She will be responsible for directing all internal operations, while continuing to ensure that high quality and cost-effective health care is delivered to patients. “I’m honored to be named as the next president of OSF HealthCare Saint Paul Medical Center and look forward to continuing to work with the Saint Paul team to serve the medical needs of the Mendota region,” said Trompeter. “It is my experience that to be a truly great organization and to offer excellence in care, leaders must spend time and attention developing and supporting a culture of caring and empathy. It is evident that the leaders at OSF Saint Paul have done just that and I am committed to carry that mission forward.”

Trompeter has served as the vice-president/chief financial officer at OSF HealthCare Saint Elizabeth Medical Center and OSF HealthCare Saint Paul Medical Center. She has been serving OSF Saint Elizabeth since 2009 and OSF Saint Paul since April 1, 2015, when the facility was acquired by OSF HealthCare. She has effectively helped both organizations improve their HCAHPS results and has engaged the rank and file membership at both organizations to improve quality, reduce cost and improve mission partner engagement.

Prior to joining OSF HealthCare, Trompeter served at Ottawa Regional Hospital in various capacities since August of 1991. She earned both her Bachelor of Arts in business administration and Master of Business Administration degrees from Lewis University in Romeoville.
