MENDOTA – Will Hansen, right, is congratulated by Mendota Police Chief Greg Kellen upon being sworn in as an officer with the Mendota Police Department at the Mendota City Council meeting on Nov. 15.
Hansen, 27, has lived most of his life in Mendota. He is a graduate of MHS, Eureka College and a proud service member of the US Navy where he served four years. Hansen’s prior experience was as an Iowa State Prison guard.
