PAW PAW – The Paw Paw Community Unit School District 271 Board met on April 18.

Jared Penman was sworn in as a new Board member.

Representatives from RK Dixon, a Xerox business solutions company, held a Zoom conference with the Board, explaining their procedures and costs for digitalizing the District’s records.

Parents and interested parties are urged to use the school website, https://www.2paws.net/ to keep informed of current school news and messages.

The Community Forum open discussion has been set for Sept. 13, 2023, at 7 p.m.

Changes in fees for the 2023-2024 school year: lunch costs will be raised 10 cents, to $2.35 for grades K-5, and $2.60 for 6-8.

School registration fees will be raised to $65 for Kindergarten, and $85 for grades 1-8.

The inaugural Paw Paw Poker Run was granted permission to use the school as a pick-up station on July 15.

The May School Board meeting is moved to Monday, May 8 at 6 p.m.
