Pontiac handed the Mendota netters a 3-2 loss on April 17 at the MHS courts.

The Trojans got singles wins from Jose Diaz and Preston Lewis, however, they dropped all three doubles matches to the Indians.

April 17

The Trojans competed in the Princeton Invitational on April 21. They placed fourth in the six-team event with 12 points. Pontiac earned the title with 20 points, followed by Princeton (18) and St. Bede (13). Streator (11) and LaSalle-Peru (10) brought up the rear.

Diaz took third place in No. 1 singles play for Mendota, while the No. 1 doubles team of Noah DeLong and Aaron Brandner also finished third.
