MENDOTA – Mr. and Mrs. George (Nellie) Needs of Mendota will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house reception hosted by their children on Sunday, Jan. 20 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Mendota Civic Center. Family and friends are invited to join the Needs in celebrating their special occasion.
George Needs and the former Nellie Caldwell were united in marriage on Jan. 11, 1969 in Mendota.
The Needs are parents to George (Barbara) Needs of Peru, Angela (Michael) Stevens of Mendota, and Tricia (John) Senica of Oglesby. They have twelve grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Mr. Needs is retired after working over 40 years as a diesel and automotive mechanic. Mrs. Needs is retired after raising their children and working 28 years at the Kitch-Inn.
