MENDOTA - Nancy E. Schrader, 45, of Mendota passed away unexpectedly in her home on June 2, 2021.
Visitation will be held from 2-5 p.m. on Monday, June 7 at the Wasmer Funeral Home, Mendota. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 am on Tuesday, June 8 at Holy Cross Church with Rev. Peter Pilon officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Quentin Bailey, Quinci Bailey, Mike Dilbeck, Ernesto Escatel and Brodie Williams.
Nancy was born April 1, 1976 in Mendota to Albert and Mary (Brown) Schrader Sr.
Survivors include her mom, Mary Keeling of Mendota; her dad, Albert (Patricia) Schrader Sr. of Spring Valley; three brothers, Ken Keeling Jr. of Birnamwood, Wis., Albert Schrader Jr. of Colorado Springs, Colo. and Keith Keeling of Wausau, Wis.; four sisters, Catina Holstein of Birnamwood, Wis., Christina Keeling of Albany, Wis., Catrina Keeling of Wausau, Wis. and Peggy (Michael) Dilbeck of Mendota; a half brother, LeRoy Schrader of Mendota; many nieces and nephews; and two godsons, Quentin and Quinci Bailey.
She was preceded in death by her bonus dad, Ken Keeling; her maternal and paternal grandparents; and two nieces, Hailey Keeling and Candy Holstein.
Nancy obtained her BSN degree through IVCC and Northern Illinois University and was employed as an emergency room nurse for OSF St. Elizabeth in Ottawa. She was proudest of her foster mom status through the Center for Youth and Family in LaSalle. To the many nieces, nephews and numerous kids in the neighborhood she was “TeeTee.”
