ARLINGTON - Nancy C. Olsen, 69, of Arlington passed away peacefully Aug. 22, 2018 at her home after a long battle with cancer.
A private funeral service was held at 1:30 p.m. on Aug. 24 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota with Rev. Gregory Jarzombek officiating. Burial was at Restland Cemetery.
Nancy was born Jan. 2, 1949 in Sandwich to Lester and Dorothy (Gauer) Walseth. She married Harold Olsen, Jr. on Dec. 23, 1978.
Survivors include her husband; one son, James (Lisa) Walseth; one brother, Robert Walseth; one sister, Bonnie Lempke; and one grandson, Ryan Walseth.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Barbara Meyer.
Nancy graduated from Sandwich High School in 1967. She worked many years at Sandhaven Nursing Home in Sandwich as head of housekeeping. She was a collector of many things and loved finding bargains on antiques. She loved fishing, camping and spending time with family and friends.
