TRIUMPH – The new season of bluegrass, gospel and country music will begin on Saturday, Oct. 10 at the Ophir Community Building in downtown Triumph. The music will play from 6-10 p.m. These jams will hopefully continue on the second Saturday of each month through May 2021.
There are several new restrictions for the music jams this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Admission will be limited to 50 persons. Masks will be required to be worn at all times. Social distancing will be required for all seating. There will be no concessions. No food or drinks will be provided and none are to be brought into the building. These rules must be strictly adhered to or the jams will not continue.
Donations will be accepted as always for the enjoyment of an evening of good music and fellowship. They are used for maintenance of the building. Several changes have been made and more are planned with these donations.
The sound system will be provided by Tom Gerber. For more information, call Jay Allen at 815-488-9154.
