Mowen Track Invite proves tough for Trojans

WINNEBAGO – Mendota was part of the highly-competitive field in the Mowen Boys’ Track Invitational on May 3 at Winnebago. The Trojans placed seventh out of eight teams with 23 points. Rockford Christian landed the top spot by a wide margin with 210 points.

Mendota’s best finish on the day was by Eddy Sandoval, who sprinted to a second-place finish in the 400-meter dash with a time of 55.16.
