MENDOTA - Mike W. Wear, 59, of Mendota died Sept. 29, 2018 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 4 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota with Rev. Mary Bohall officiating. Private family burial will be at Restland Cemetery, Mendota. Visitation will be from 4-6:30 p.m. on Oct. 4 at the funeral home.
Mike was born Jan. 1, 1959 to Clyde and Mary (Ross) Janssen and later raised by Gene Wear.
Survivors include his sisters, Yvonne Carr, Connie (Jerry) Husband, Patricia Rodriquez, Karen (John) Reutner, Diane Sater, Jean Baker, Rose Janssen, Cindy (Simon) Fuller and Tammy Janssen; one brother, Walt (Carolyn) Wear; two step-sons, Jeff and Jason Clark; three step-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Larry; and one sister, Barbara.
Mike was a semi-driver and demolition derby enthusiast. He loved spending time with his family and friends and will be missed by all who were lucky to have known him.
Memorials may be directed to the family or the donor’s choice.
