LOCKPORT – Mendota High School bowler Luke Ross had his season come to a close at the Lockport (Twp.) Sectional on Jan. 25.
Ross had a six-game total of 1260, but it wasn’t enough to earn a trip to the state tournament. The Mendota senior rolled games of 225, 182, 226, 244, 199 and 184.
The individual sectional champion was Chris Bienvenu of Plainfield (Central) with a 1407.
The sectional team championship went to Minooka with a 6529.
